Nella Pidutti  ROHP (Registered Orthomolecular Health Practitioner)

Nella has worked in the field of integrative health and nutrition since 1974, as practitioner, consultant, distributor, writer and educator. She is certified in nutrition therapy, herbal medicine, reflexology, acupressure, trigger point therapy, bioenergetic medicine, energy therapies, and continues to integrate various aspects of these modalities when appropriate with her clients during a session.

 

Along with the practice of Nutrition Therapy, she offers training and health interest workshops for individuals  based on learning to integrate  body, mind and emotion ( psyche) to regulate health and to create a workable ‘management of wellness’ program of their own.

Her career in nutritional health has spanned 5 decades from  her first job in a health food store in Collingwood Ontario in 1974, and her first health food store business called Naturally Yours in Windsor Ontario in 1978, to Bio Essence Nutrition Health food store and clinic in 1995 in Digby Nova Scotia, and Solas Integrated Health Centre and wellness centre in 2013, also in Digby Nova Scotia. Although, the centre has been closed since 2020, she continues to provide health coaching and consultations as well as specialized supplements programs and direction by appointment.

From 1997 to 2020, she had the pleasure and privilege of working as a Functional Medicine Consultant for multiple professional supplement manufacturers: for Biotics Research Canada (Texas), Thorne Research USA,  and Enzymedica USA.

 

Beginning in 1997, and while operating a busy health food store, she began training and working as both practitioner and sales consultant with Digital Acubase Inc. out of Utah on bioenergetic and biofeedback medical devices. That introduction into the world of bioenergetic medicine created the opportunity to work with BioMeridian Medical Devices out of Utah, for whom she additionally became the Canadian distributor of their MSA unit and the only Canadian trainer on this medical device for over 20 years. During this time, a deeper understanding of homeopathy and Chinese medicine contributed to the development of extensive training programs for practitioners as well as the authorship of her Manual for Advanced Meridian Assessment. 

 

During those years, she trained practitioners from various modalities in the use of  the BioMeridian medical device as well the therapeutic use of supplements within protocols. 

 

In 2012 she began importing and distributing Guna Biotherapeutics (homeopathic remedies) out of Italy, and she continues to distribute Sterol 117,  the highest source of plant sterols available in capsule form,  out of Calgary Alberta.

Nella has been a member of the International Association of Nutritional Consultants from 1995 to 2023.

I have always offered the highest level of customized care possible, based on education, up to date research, and decades of experience. My mission, solidified by the opportunities I've had working with individuals and professional supplement and medical device manufacturers, remains one of service and commitment. Throughout my years in practice I've learned that the greatest determinants of health are involvement, responsibility, willingness, desire and commitment. I want to help you get into the best shape of your life by providing guidance and effective choices for your new level of self-empowerment: one where you learn to identify the factors that help you regulate your health on an on-going basis.  ​

I know how confusing the natural supplement and food industry can be.  I also know that including multiple treatments to repair and restore the musculoskeletal system or to re-establish cellular health with sound nutrition programs  can be expensive. So, my goal is to help you simplify your path toward achieving long lasting optimum wellness, affordably and with as little stress as possible. My overall focus is on the basic structural, nutritional, detoxification and subtle energy needs of the body.

Our coaching programs are based on a return to the foundation principles of  nutrition, while incorporating advancements in nutritional science and research. We've developed techniques that narrow down the body, mind and spiritual causes of your imbalances. We use only the highest quality products and we manufacture some of our own formulas and skin care, that address overall repair, regeneration and healing. Your solutions depend on your participation, with our support, guidance and expertise.
